Track your flight in realtime…

There are a lot of internet pages available offering various services around flight tracking. However, most of them are simply limited to statements similar shown on the information boards at the airport, like „in time“, „delayed by … minutes“ or „cancelled“.

All those systems have in common to lack of real tracking information on per second base. Such a system displays the exact position of the aircraft at the very moment such as radar systems used by air traffic controllers.

Now, it wouldn’t be the 21st century, if there is not a webpage providing exactly that sort of information:

As the information base for the flight data shown is related to people who sniffer ADS-B out signals, it provides high accuracy but still limited to regions where enthusiasts own such specific receiver and share their data. However it’s still a nice example what data collection and matching can achieve…
